Commercial properties with glass frontages are particularly appealing to retailers as they are energy efficient, allow natural light in and unobstructed views, and look stunning. However, it is not without its faults.

Costa Coffee at Rydon Lane Retail Park in Exeter was struggling to manage the brightness levels. Not wanting to shut out the light completely, Shades of Comfort fitted blinds to the lower windows and a reflective window film to the upper windows to protect the staff from the sun’s glare whilst still allowing as much natural light through as possible.
